Music on Film: It Might Get Loud

Standing outside the box office in Eau Claire yesterday, you would think a live act was brewing! The line up was daunting, winding its way down the full length of the mall's upper level, and a second line a third its size for rush tickets. The theatre was packed and humming with excitement as everyone from young punks to aged rockers waited to see three generations of guitar giants hit the screen. It Might Get Loud was a little less rockin' and a little more reflective than I had expected, but still had a wild, magical effect as an intimate jam session enfolded before our eyes.

If you're as envious as you should be after hearing the rumors, the Music on Film series continues throughout the week. Tonight, it's Rock Prophecies followed by a party at the Barley Mill, as well as NPP Gros Morne which is a stunning visual tour through the East Coast wilds featuring a live performance instead of the audio track!
