Festival time is learning time. Check out some of the terrific documentaries the festival has lined up and impress your family and friends with newly acquired facts and figures.
To kick things off, Prom Night In Mississippi is showing at Eau Claire, at 9:15 pm. It tells the story of a high school in Charleston, Mississippi which holds two proms every year, separating white students from black. (details)
For you music lovers, It Might Get Loud is also playing at Eau Claire, at 9:30 pm. Starring Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin), The Edge (U2) and Jack White (White Stripes, Raconteurs, Dead Weather). Enough said. (details)
Finally on opening night, there is The Mirror (Lo Specchio), showing at The Plaza at 9:00 pm. It tells about the mayor of Viganella, a town in northwestern Italy, who hatches a unique plan to try and save his home from fading into extinction. (details)
